JIM VOSK

Jim is a former Boston Red Sox pitcher who was successful at every professional level and was a member of the 1977 Major League Club. He was a highly sought after prospect who turned down numerous scholarship offers to become the Boston Red Sox 3rd Round pick and first New Jersey player selected in the 1971 Major League Draft.  Jim set several team and league records during his career and pitched on Boston’s 1977 AAA International Championship Team.

                                                                                              

As a former professional pitcher, Jim learned the importance of sound pitching fundamentals and strategies from some of the best coaches in Major League Baseball. Jim has the training and experience to help develop young pitchers to perform to the best of their abilities.  His keen eye, patience, and positive teaching style help students and coach develop a great rapport that leads to a constructive learning environment. Jim is keenly aware of the communication strategies necessary to assist players of differing ages and abilities to reach their full potential.

 

Ø       All-Shore and All-State honors at Middletown Twp. H.S.

Ø       NY Daily News All Star.

Ø       Set Save and ERA records in AA Eastern League.

Ø       Pitcher with AAA International League Championship Team.

Ø       Teammate of Jim Rice, Carlton Fisk, Luis Tiant, Ferguson Jenkins, Fred Lynn, Bob Stanley and Yaz.

Ø     Played for Don Zimmer, currently of the Tampa Bay Rays.

 

Ø      Private Pitching Lessons are priced at:

      $30.00 per ½ hour

          ($45 if inside)

      $60.00 per hour

          ($90 if inside)

      (This is a one on one lesson)

 

Ø      Group Pitching Lessons are priced at $25.00 per pitcher

      (Min. of 4 pitchers per group)
